Build the skills to coordinate and manage Telehealth services in Aboriginal health and community organisations.

In this short, hands-on course, you’ll complete workplace-based training and gain nationally recognised skills in Telehealth administration – with a strong emphasis on cultural safety and Community connection.
To study this program, you must be employed within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health service organisation with access to Telehealth technology.
Eligible students can complete this course free of charge.

Graduates of the Telehealth Administration Skill Set will be ready to support and manage Telehealth services in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health settings.
These units can also count as credit towards further study in the Health and Community Services Training Packages, such as Certificate III or IV level qualifications.

Entry Requirements
Below are the entry requirements for this course:
To enrol, you must:
- be 18 years or older at the time of enrolment
- complete a Learning, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and Pre-training Review (PTR)
- have wide-ranging skills and knowledge about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of living
- have basic digital skills, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
You must also be:
- working or volunteering in a relevant role providing support to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, or
- working or volunteering for an Aboriginal health organisation, or
- able to access an appropriate workplace to complete practical assessments.
If you’ve completed similar units or gained relevant skills through work or study, you may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer. Our team can guide you through this process during enrolment.
This training is delivered under the Skills First Program and may be free for eligible students.
Eligibility is assessed individually before enrolment, and tuition fees may vary depending on your circumstances.
